Dear Teachers and Friends,
Good afternoon to all of you! I am Joel Tye.
Today I would like to change the way you view Math. For this reason, my speech is titled, “The Power of Math.”
Mathematics is one of the most important subjects in our daily life. Its application pervades almost all human activities. In a rapidly changing world and in the era of technology, mathematics plays an essential role.
Without the knowledge of mathematics, nothing is possible in the world. This is because Mathematics that is taught in the classroom not only teaches us how to calcutate, but it helps us develop our reasoning and logical thinking processes.
Therefore, Teachers and Friends,
Schools play an important role in producing creative students who are well-developed in all aspects of life.
It is interesting that I read somewhere that Mathematics helps students to develop creative thinking.
Educators believe there is a strong relationship between studying mathematics and increasing creative thinking. Learning Math is a good way to develop one’s creative capacity.
I wish to end here with a hope that you will be convinced that you can use mat in your daily life
