Panda bears live in places where bamboos are. They are very cute animals and they eat leaves, stems, roots, and shoots of bamboo species. But can the panda bears be found in the tropical forest of Malaysia?
No, panda bears are not native to Malaysia. Most panda bears can only be found in China; they can be found in forests full of bamboo because that is also what they eat.
A panda bear does not hatch its eggs; instead, they give birth to their young. A male’s height is about 5-6 feet and its weight is 100 kilogram to 115 kilogram.
Have you ever wondered why the panda bear has black and white spots? Well, for the white spots, it is to hide from the snowy habitats, while the black spots are used to hide from shades.
Like cats, panda bears also have vertical slits of pupils. The mother panda bears stay close to their little cubs; for months, she will cover her cubs with her head, arm, and paws.
When the little baby cub is five months old, it will learn how to climb onto its mother. It has wrist bones that they use together with their thumbs to grab food.
Panda bears spend at least 10-16 hours eating. Wow, they must be fat when they are old! The panda bears need at least two types of bamboo trees to keep them from starving.
Panda bears not only eat bamboo trees, they also eat small insects, eggs, carrions and forage. But if they are on the farm, they will eat pumpkin, kidney beans, wheat, and domestic pig food.
Did you know that panda bears poop at least 40 times a day? Did you know that panda bears are also known as the “Giant Bears”? Well, now you know!
