On last Sunday afternoon, my mother brought my brother, Bryan who is 7 years old to nearby shop to get few items.
On their way back, they were greeted by an old granny at the train station who was very friendly and gave my brother a sweet. After they reached home, my brother went to play his Lego in the Toys Room.
However, after a while, he felt tired and wanted to have afternoon nap.
After two hours, my mother felt something was not right as Bryan never had the habit of taking his afternoon nap. So, she went to check him out and realized he was not in his bedroom!
Mother told us about Bryan's disappearance. For half an hour, we were all searching for him under the bed, behind the toilet door, inside the cupboards... and, yes, anywhere we could imagine him playing a hide-and-seek on us.
We finally found him at the garden chatting with nobody. When we asked him who he was speaking to and why he looked so sad, he told us that he met the same old granny earlier and she was here with him sharing the sad story of her life.
But, we could not see anyone! Who was it that my brother was speaking to? Till today, we still do not know who this old lady was.
The next day, my brother had a fever and it didn’t subside for one whole week. We had to seek a priest’s help after consulting different doctors and his fever was still high.
After few days, his condition finally improved and he managed to share with us that the old granny finally left him after she said she had found her son at the graveyard.
Since then, we didn’t hear anything from Bryan anymore and he’s back to his old self–active and playful!
