The teachers picked 97 students, while the other three were usually handpicked by the headmaster. Two of the three children, Hyun and Tae who were selected by the teacher, Mr Park on behalf of the headmaster, passed the audition, but not Suzy. She had a bad attitude.
Suzy was one of two daughters to a very rich businessman but their family soon became bankrupt due to her father's bad habit of gambling. Hyun was an orphan who was talented but did not know it until he went to the Karaoke with his best friend.
Meanwhile, Hyun was from the countryside and his talent was spotted by the headmaster during a concert at his school.
Because Suzy, Hyun and, Tae were handpicked, they could not join the others to learn performing arts, or even use the studio to practise. They were only allowed to use a filthy classroom.
Their peers laughed and poked fun at them. The three students were initially discouraged but their teacher allowed them to use an empty room in his house.
When a monthly evaluation was carried out, everyone was surprised that the trio had scored the highest marks! They were promoted to the performing arts class.
“You may take longer to reach your goal compared to the others, but in the end, you will still make it,” the teacher told the trio. That motivated everyone to work harder.
After putting in all the hard work, they (who are we referring to here as ‘they’) asked if Eunji, Jason and Tara wanted to form a band.
“Yes, sure! We’d be happy to!” the three agreed to it immediately and started to work on their song. They worked hard and soon were enrolled in a company, KM Entertainment after passing their audition.
The children debuted as a group with their song named 'Never give up'. And became very famous. They soon became the Hallyu stars. They also won many awards internationally.
