Joel Tye, 11, writes his teacher's script, where he pretends to be Teacher Giganti Max to teach English....
Hello Students, my name is Teacher Giganti Max, a giant big fat pineapple backside.
I am going to teach you for your whole life - ah, just kidding! I will be teaching you from primary one to six. Please open your oversized text book and put it on your extremely dirty desk.(giggle),
Today, I am going to teach you a new and amazing chapter in the English textbook. This new chapter is about free time. Free time is when you have nothing to do and do your own activities that you think are fun and good for you.
You can do many interesting things in your free time. For example, play video games, watch television, listen to music and many more activities that you can use with all your free time.
A hobby is considered to be a regular activity that is done for enjoyment, typically during one's leisure time. Hobbies include collecting themed items and objects, engaging in creative and artistic pursuits, playing sports, or pursuing other amusements. Participation in hobbies helps us to acquire substantial skills and knowledge in that area.
The benefit of having hobbies is that you can keep your body in better physical health. Physical hobbies can be a good way to keep in shape. Hobbies such as gardening, yoga, hiking, dancing, and sports can keep us active.
Some activities such as Sudoku, reading, and puzzles can help parts of our mind by activating our concentration.
Engaging in many creative and fun activities such as writing, painting, singing, Chess games or cooking may provide for a good refreshing and relieving sense of accomplishment.
Community-driven hobbies including book clubs, helping out at a big soup kitchen, or virtually tutoring orphans using zoom, help you engage with others socially even at a long and far away distance.
Good work my wonderful students! It’s time for you to get your food at the canteen but don’t rush!
