When Jack was about to eat breakfast, the doorbell rang.
He felt confused because he wasn’t expecting any visitors. Quietly, he opened the door and it was the postman.
“Hi, how may I help you?” asked Jack in relief.
“I have mail for you, Sir,” said the postman, looking into a stack of letters.
Jack stared at the letter for a moment. It wasn't from someone he knew. While Jack was opening the letter, it started to glow. There were three invitations to a relaxing cruise trip! Jack jumped up in excitement. He quickly called his friends to join him.
When the day finally came, Jack packed his stuff and went to the dock. Two of his friends, Sam and Max were there, too.
Their ride was about to begin! “Hi, my name is Jeff. I will be your guide for today,” said Jeff. He was five-foot-three, looking handsome in his Lunar Cruise t-shirt.
“Firstly, welcome to the money cruise,” Jeff continued. “You can collect money from anywhere on the boat.”
Jack and his friends were suddenly loaded with lots of money that they could explode! They played a few games and went to their room, bearing the number 666.
They had to go to bed early. The next day, they were going to have dinner with the captain. During the night, Sam woke up pondering over a question that had been disturbing him.
“Hey, Jack,” Sam tried to wake Jack up.
“Yes?'' murmured Jack, still half asleep.
“How did you pay for all this?”
“Well, I didn't, I got invited.”
“From who?”
“I don’t know.”
“Huh?”
“Hey look, what is the green light!”
Jack saw another boat but it was half green and half transparent. It was scary.
Suddenly, Max woke up, confused. “Why are you guys up so early?” he asked.
“Max, look out the window,” Jack pointed his finger at something that looked like a vessel. Max was amazed to see a ghost ship but he was not afraid.
Then, it just disappeared.
During the following night, Jack and his friends got dressed neatly, for the dinner.
They couldn’t help thinking about the ghost ship that they saw the night before. Out of the blue, the lights went out. It was pitch black.
They tried to fix the lights. Jeff told them to find a screwdriver in the bathroom. Max found something written on the wall of the bathroom.
It said, GIVE THE NECKLACE BACK TO ME!!!OR DIEEEE. It looked disturbing, and it started to fade away. The lights were back on.
Jack and his friends returned to the dining room to meet the captain for dinner. The captain was wearing a golden necklace. Was it what the monster wanted?
Jack asked where the captain had found the necklace.
“I found it on the shore,” replied the captain.
Max explained to the captain what they had witnessed earlier. The captain did not believe the boys.
“Can we give back the necklace to the monster?” Max asked.
The captain flew into a rage. He shot some kind of gas at the boys, and everyone fell asleep.
When they woke up, the boys found themselves behind bars. Jeff was here too!
Jeff was here because he had tried to steal the necklace from the captain.
Sam came up with an idea to escape. He took out his lucky golden pencil and inserted it into the keyhole. The door opened!
“I told you guys it had magic,” said Sam.
They saw the monster appearing from nowhere. Reaching out to Jeff, the monster killed Jeff. His blood splattered everywhere.
“YOU'RE NEXT, MUAHAHA!” The monster shouted as he chased them with a knife in his hand. They ran for their lives.
They ended in the arcade. The monster summoned his minions and tried to sink the ship. Jack and his friends had no choice but to fight them.
Blood spewed everywhere. The trip turned into a nightmare. Everyone was badly injured. There was blood on their bodies from their heads to their toes.
Max could not give up. He got up and soon everyone got up. They checked the security cams to see where the captain was.
They found him in the cockpit. Max went alone as Jack and Sam needed some rest. Sam gave Max his pencil as a lucky charm.
Max looked everywhere for the captain. He could still feel his blood oozing out of his body. Trails of blood everywhere, he could no longer handle it anymore! Suddenly, he found himself face-to-face with the captain.
“It’s over!” shouted Max.
Max had enough! He fought the captain fearlessly, killing him on the spot but strangely his dead body was nowhere to be found.
The monster appeared and gave Max a choice. He could either keep the necklace or return it to him.
Without thinking further, Max decided to keep the necklace and gave the golden pencil to the monster instead.
As soon as the monster took the golden pencil, everything came back to normal. Everyone was fine. For the rest of the trip, the boys enjoyed themselves.
Upon arriving home, Max felt remorseful as he had killed the captain!
So, you might be wondering where did the captain go right? Well, basically he was not even real or alive. He became a puppet when he was wearing the golden necklace.
The golden necklace was controlling him. DUN Dun DUN!
THE END!
